CyberFocus is a £5 million UKRI-funded programme led by Lancaster University, bringing together universities, industry, public organisations and communities to strengthen cyber innovation across the North West. Through collaborative projects, innovation activities and pubic engagement, it connects cyber security research with real-world challenges and opportunities. The aim is to galvanise the North West’s cyber ecosystem through trusted, research-led partnerships that strengthen national prosperity and protection.
Fhunded
Supported by Lancashire County Council, fhunded is the county’s dedicated early-stage investment initiative. Through a range of activities, fhunded helps to facilitate a growing community of businesses, investors and service providers who are all focused on discovering new opportunities. Fhunded engage with the individuals behind the pitch-decks and ask investors exactly what they are seeking. Through curated events, they bring the right founders and funders together at the right time.
