To be an integral partner in the delivery of the National Cyber Strategy and in doing so consolidate the region’s global reputation for cyber and ensure maximum benefit for the North West, it’s people, communities and businesses.

Innovation eco-system
The North West Cyber Corridor is home to a nationally unique thriving and growing super cluster.  We host the third largest cyber cluster in the UK (beyond London and the South East), the fourth largest aerospace cluster globally, the fastest growing digital and tech sector in Europe, and we are the heart of the UK's defence and security sector and the only region nationally to host all stages of the nuclear lifecycle.

The North West Cyber Corridor Innovation Impact Study Evidence Base 2023

Perspective Economics was commissioned by Lancaster University (in collaboration with Plexal) to support the development of an evidence base and strategic outline for the North West Cyber Corridor project.

 

This study covers the region of the North West of England and explores the assets, initiatives, and potential of the North West Cyber Corridor ecosystem.

Developing the NW Cyber Ecosystem

 

60 delegates from universities, government and industry were brought together with innovation specialists and risk capital investors from across the North West.

This report summarises the principles required to develop the skills pipeline for growth.
