2026 events
TeenTech Lancashire Festival 2026, 18 June 2026
The future of innovation shone brightly in Lancashire as Yeas 8 and 9 pupils from across the county gathered for the highly anticipated TeenTech Lancashire Festival. The festival brought together more than 2000 young people to explore careers in science, cyber, technology and engineering.
CYBER UK 2026, 21 - 23 April 2026
CYBERUK, the National Cyber Security Centre’s annual flagship cyber security conference, took place at the SEC in Glasgow. The theme of the conference was The Next Decade: Accelerating Our Cyber Defence and marked the 10th anniversary year of the NCSC. The event attracted over 3,000 cyber security leaders, academics and professionals.
BSides Lancashire, 26 March 2026
BSides Lancashire took place at Lancaster University. The event focused on valuable technical research, inclusion, diversity, and career progression. It featured insights from a range of disciplines and roles within the industry and catered to everyone from seasoned professionals to those with an initial interest in cyber.
Lancashire Cyber Festival Education Week, 2 - 6 February 2026
Organised by the Lancashire Cyber Partnership (LCP), Lancashire Cyber Festival Education Week brought together more than 10,000 young people from across the county to learn about Lancashire’s rapidly expanding cyber ecosystem and take part in activities that highlighted the value of cyber skills in a range of industry sectors including aerospace, manufacturing, and engineering.

Lancashire Cyber Festival 2025, 30 June - 1 July 2025
More than 200 senior business leaders, investors, policymakers and academics gathered to explore how Lancashire can seize a “once-in-a-generation” opportunity in cyber innovation. Hosted by Lancaster University in partnership with the Lancashire Cyber Partnership, the two-day event brought together experts in research and innovation, careers, skills and education to explore partnerships and business growth opportunities.
CYBER UK 2025, 6 - 8 May 2025
CYBERUK is the UK Government’s flagship cybersecurity event, bringing together over 2,000 leaders from government, industry, and academia to explore the future of national cyber resilience. The North West Cyber Corridor had a strong presence at the event, with regional partners speaking and exhibiting to demonstrate the North West’s growing influence as a hub of cyber security and defence.
BSides Lancashire, 16 April 2025
BSides Lancashire brought together cyber security professionals and enthusiasts from across the region in a dynamic, community-driven event. Catering to everyone from seasoned experts to those with an initial interest in cyber, the conference offered technical talks, career sessions, and networking opportunities - reflecting the North West Cyber Corridor’s commitment to fostering talent and skills across all levels of the cyber community.
Lancashire Cyber Festival Education Week, 3 - 7 February 2025
Lancashire Cyber Festival Education Week gave students across the county an inspiring, hands-on introduction to the world of cyber and digital careers. Through interactive challenges, escape rooms, and entrepreneurship activities, young people explored the skills and opportunities shaping one of the UK’s fastest-growing sectors.
