Lancashire Cyber Festival highlights North West’s opportunity to build a world-leading cyber ecosystem.

CYBERUK
CYBERUK is the UK government's flagship cyber security event, hosted by the National Cyber Security Centre. It convenes over 2,000 cyber security leaders and professionals each year for networking, knowledge exchange, and collaboration.This year's event took place at Manchester Central, 6 - 8 May 2025.

BSides Lancashire
On April 16th 2025, BSides Lancashire, in partnership with Lancaster University, took place at Lancaster University,
The event focused on valuable technical research, inclusion, diversity, and career progression and was aimed at anyone from seasoned professionals to anyone with an interest in cyber.

Lancashire Cyber Festival - Education Week
Local colleges and Universities threw open its doors to local colleges to help young people explore job opportunities in the cyber sector.
Part of the 2025 Lancashire Cyber Festival, and organised by the Lancashire Cyber Partnership, the cyber education week saw over 12,000 children and young people - from primary school pupils thorough to university undergraduates – discovering more about study pathways and future job opportunities set to be created by the county’s cyber sector.
