2025 key events

Lancashire Cyber Festival 2025
More than 200 senior business leaders, investors, policymakers and academics gathered to explore how Lancashire can seize a “once-in-a-generation” opportunity in cyber innovation. Hosted by Lancaster University in partnership with the Lancashire Cyber Partnership, the two-day event brought together experts in research and innovation, careers, skills and education to explore partnerships and business growth opportunities. 

CYBER UK 2025

CYBERUK is the UK Government’s flagship cybersecurity event, bringing together over 2,000 leaders from government, industry, and academia to explore the future of national cyber resilience. The North West Cyber Corridor had a strong presence at the event, with regional partners speaking and exhibiting to demonstrate the North West’s growing influence as a hub of cyber security and defence.

BSIdes Lancashire

BSides Lancashire brought together cyber security professionals and enthusiasts from across the region in a dynamic, community-driven event. Catering to everyone from seasoned experts to those with an initial interest in cyber, the conference offered technical talks, career sessions, and networking opportunities - reflecting the North West Cyber Corridor’s commitment to fostering talent and skills across all levels of the cyber community.

Lancashire Cyber Festival Education Week 

Lancashire Cyber Festival Education Week gave students across the county an inspiring, hands-on introduction to the world of cyber and digital careers. Through interactive challenges, escape rooms, and entrepreneurship activities, young people explored the skills and opportunities shaping one of the UK’s fastest-growing sectors.
